Director Mike Buonaiuto creates stunning trailer for Credence, a first of it’ s kind Sci-Fi film that will challenge the way homosexual characters are portrayed in film. After posting the project on the social fundraising site Indigogo, the task smashed it’ s 6, 000£ target in only 3 days. In fact , the film raised 8K£ within the very first 72 hours of posting.

The support has continued to grow in the following week and the film is now closing in on 20, 000 £ in raised funds for the task. The additional money will be put toward making an even better product compared to originally envisioned with some of the money going toward film festival distribution and more stunning visual effects.

The film trailer, while only 90 secs long, manages to fire a bullet right to the heart of the national discussion on marriage equality and glbt family rights. The success of the fundraising is a testament to our pent-up have to see better representation of our families in film. The film goes beyond a niche project directed towards the gay community. It poignantly catapults the very notion of “ what exactly is family” into the international spotlight.

Our short film comes after 2 fathers’ decision to make the supreme sacrifice to give up all their possessions to ensure the survival of their daughter, and the whole human race.
